Album Reviews

“(...) few bands can claim to possess all the qualities needed to [...] venture to tease their influences and references on their own turf. However, [...] Kozoria seems to be one of them.”

Rock Hard

« (...) It is a technical album with some beautiful lyrics and vocal arrangements. It is impossible to sit still or not become completely enthralled from the first song all the way to the end of the album. (…) “The Source” is an adventure all on its’ own. It is breathtaking, heartfelt, and a perfect conclusion. Kozoria is paving their way in metal in full force with this debut release.”

Metal Nation

“(...) Any Metalhead worth their weight in salt also knows [French metal bands’] propensity for outstanding Metal bands, and “The Source” from KOZORIA is a very promising effort from a band looking to get a chunk of that notoriety.”

About Album

In The Source, Kozoria paints a romantic and dramatic universe throughout the tracks. Each story depicts the anxieties of human beings facing the violence of their own emotions. The hostility of these environments often mirrors internal conflicts intertwined with paradoxes. Songwriting serves contemporary narratives. The polyphonies create contrasts, they induce dual meanings, they evoke irony or invigorate the main melodies. However, these generally dark themes are consistently punctuated by luminous breakthroughs, glowing with hope and vitality.
